SRINAGAR - ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN THE WORLD
Srinagar is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world. It is also called the Venice of East. It is summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a very famous tourist destination. It is also a favorite with filmmakers for shootings because of the unique natural setting and beauty. The city has a very beautiful lake called Dal lake with beautiful shikaras and houseboats. The lake is surrounded by Zabarvan hill range which lends it a unique ambience. There are wonderful Mughal gardens such as Nishat, Shalimar and Chashme Shahi. There is a Tulip Garden also. Srinagar is also famous for its handicrafts like Shawls and Carpets.
